Tasting Note

Dense black-fruit core of blackberry, cassis and dark plum with dark chocolate, espresso, licorice and soy. Savory olive, rosemary and tobacco notes; velvety texture, powerful polished tannins and a long spiced vanilla-cedar finish.

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, beef Wellington. Asian: Cantonese char siu, Korean galbi (BBQ short ribs), Sichuan-style beef, Peking duck.


Production Method

Sourced from premium Barossa and McLaren Vale parcels; 2017 is 100% Shiraz. Fermented and matured ~18 months in 100% new American oak hogsheads; traditional multi-vineyard blending and extended bottle maturation potential.
