Tasting Note

Pale amber-tawny with dried mulberries, sultanas, treacle, caramel and marmalade, backed by nutty oak and toffee. Rich, smooth and sweet with a long, warming finish.

Western: Stilton/blue cheese, mature cheddar, Christmas pudding, fruitcake, crème brûlée, dark chocolate. Asian: mooncake, sticky rice desserts, red-braised pork, hoisin-glazed duck or char siu, sesame-based sweets.


Production Method

Multi-vintage blend aged in seasoned oak hogsheads using a solera-style system (Kalimna Tawny Cellars); fortified and matured under corrugated iron to an average blended age of 10 years.
