Tasting Note
Opaque purple; concentrated blackcurrant, plum and blackberry with pencil lead, incense and dark chocolate notes. Full-bodied, glossy texture, ripe fruit and integrated oak, fine chalky tannins and a long, structured finish.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef short ribs, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), Cantonese roast duck, char siu, Szechuan beef, beef satay.
Production Method
Sourced from centenarian Barossa vineyards; grapes barrel-fermented and matured in new French oak (approx. 14 months) to build density, texture and oak integration.
