Tasting Note

Concentrated blackcurrant and black cherry with violet florals, cedar, tobacco and truffle notes; medium–full bodied, silky yet firm tannins, savory earthiness and a long, polished finish.

Production Method

Vineyard Info

Second wine of Château Margaux (named Pavillon Rouge since 1908). Revived under André Mentzelopoulos in 1977; draws fruit from Margaux estate vineyards to offer a more approachable, ageworthy wine.
