Tasting Note
Perfumed cassis and black cherry with violet, graphite and tobacco notes. Silky, ripe tannins, mineral undercurrent and a long, incense-tinged finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, fermented in oak/stainless vats, malolactic fermentation and matured ~20 months in ~60% new oak barrels.

Second wine of Château Margaux, named Pavillon Rouge in 1908; revived 1977 by André Mentzelopoulos. Made from selected estate lots to mirror grand vin style.
