Tasting Note

Opulent, full-bodied, concentrated black fruits (blackberry, blueberry), dark chocolate, graphite, spice and floral (rose) notes; velvety yet powerful tannins, vivid minerality and an epic, long finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, ribeye or prime rib, braised beef short ribs, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (char siu), Korean BBQ (bulgogi or galbi), soy-braised beef, mushroom and black-bean stir-fries.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; fermented in temperature-controlled wooden and stainless vats; élevage ~18–24 months in largely new French oak (c.80–100%), often bottled unfiltered.
