Tasting Note
Dense black fruit (blackberry, cassis) with black olive, graphite, cracked pepper and a hint of truffle/cedar; plush, mineral-driven texture and a long, savory, peppery finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; 100% destemmed; ~3 weeks maceration with daily pump-overs; malolactic fermentation; aged 12–18 months in French oak (≈20% new), plus tronconique/demi-muids/concrete vessels.
Vineyard Info
Thalabert—Jaboulet's first vineyard (purchased 1834) and the oldest in the appellation. Old vines (40–90 yrs), biodynamic practices, planted on stony glacial terraces.
