Tasting Note
Bright red berry and wild strawberry with floral notes, orange peel and bergamot; silky texture, fresh acidity, hints of Rainier cherry, rosemary, baking spice and saline minerality; long, perfumed finish.

Production Method
~15% whole-cluster; 5-day cold soak, ~17-day maceration with gentle punchdowns; indigenous yeast fermentation, spontaneous malolactic in barrel; aged ~15 months in French oak (≈30% new); bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Goldrock Estate is a West Sonoma Coast site (≈550 ft, Goldridge soils) purchased by Paul Hobbs; planted to PN and Chardonnay and farmed for concentrated, cool-climate fruit. Paul Hobbs founded his winery in 1991 and emphasizes site-driven, minimal-intervention winemaking.
