Tasting Note

Perfumed Russian River Pinot with cranberry, raspberry, black tea and dried violet aromas; flavors of Damson plum, cola and baking spice, framed by silky tannins, bright acidity and a very long, elegant finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast duck, mushroom risotto, rosemary-rubbed lamb, pork tenderloin. Asian: miso-glazed salmon, Peking duck, teriyaki beef, shiitake mushroom ramen.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; small open-top fermentations with indigenous yeasts; ~14% whole-cluster; cold soak and extended maceration; aged ~15 months in French oak (≈53% new); bottled unfined/unfiltered.
