Tasting Note
Flinty, saline-driven Chardonnay with lemon confit, green apple, ripe pear, pineapple and citrus blossom. Hints of cream, pie crust and subtle butterscotch; precise, structured palate with bright acidity and a long, saline finish.

Food Pairing
Seared scallops, lobster with beurre blanc, roast chicken, mushroom risotto; Asian: miso-glazed black cod, tempura prawns, sushi/sashimi (fatty tuna), teriyaki salmon, lightly spiced Thai green curry.

Production Method
Hand-harvested fruit, whole-cluster pressed; barrel-fermented in French oak (portion new), aged on lees with partial malolactic fermentation; minimal intervention to showcase site minerality.

Goldrock Estate—purchased by Paul Hobbs in 2016—is a remote 42‑acre vineyard near Annapolis on the West Sonoma Coast. Planted mainly to Pinot Noir with small Chardonnay blocks on Goldridge soils, ~5 miles from the Pacific.
