Tasting Note
Bright red and blue fruit (raspberry, cherry, blueberry) with lavender, baking spice and earthy moss/tobacco notes. Silky texture, polished tannins, juicy acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested 100% Pinot Noir; small open-top fermentations with indigenous yeasts; ~15% whole-cluster; 5-day cold soak, ~14-day maceration; spontaneous malolactic; ~9 months in French oak (≈25% new); bottled unfined/unfiltered.

Paul Hobbs acquired the George Menini Estate in 2012. The 39.15 planted-acre site sits in the Sebastopol Hills (Goldridge sandy loam) and is planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; named for former apple farmer George Menini.
