Tasting Note
Bright citrus and stone fruit (apricot, nectarine, golden apple) with white flowers, crushed stone/minerality, baking spice and a saline hint; medium–full, creamy texture, vibrant acidity and a long, focused mineral finish.

Western: roasted chicken, seared scallops, crab cakes, creamy pasta, Gruyère tartlets. Asian: miso-glazed black cod, lobster tempura, seared tuna/sushi, mild coconut-based Thai dishes, tempura vegetables.

Production Method
Whole-cluster pressed, barrel-fermented in French oak (approx. 48–56% new), aged sur-lie with regular bâtonnage, spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrel; bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Ellen Lane is a small (≈5-acre) hillside estate in Green Valley (Russian River) planted to Chardonnay; replanted and developed by Paul Hobbs as an estate site producing a cool-climate, single-vineyard expression.
