Tasting Note

Bright lemon and white peach with toasted hazelnut, flinty/reductive notes, chalky minerality, vibrant acidity and a long, precise finish; powerful yet elegant.

Western: lobster with butter, roast chicken, creamy mushroom risotto, pork belly, grilled scallops. Asian: miso‑glazed cod, seared scallops with soy‑ginger, sushi/sashimi, light Thai green curry, tempura vegetables.


Production Method

Hand‑harvested, whole‑cluster pressed, wild yeast barrel ferment in barrique (≈30% new), full malolactic, lees stirring, aged ~11–12 months, minimal filtration, small sulphur at bottling.

From a dry‑grown 1ha vineyard planted 1982 (Kelleher) at ~300–350m on volcanic/basalt soils. Patrick Sullivan is a boutique Gippsland producer focused on site‑driven Chardonnay.
