Tasting Note
Dark black fruits (cassis, plum), black cherry, baking spice, violet and dark chocolate with mineral and peppery notes. Medium-full body, silky texture, fine-grained tannins and a long, fresh finish.

Western: roast lamb, beef short ribs, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), braised beef with soy, Sichuan-style beef dishes.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, plot vinification in a gravity-flow cellar; fermented with controlled temperatures and aged ~18 months in French oak (approx. 50% new).
Vineyard Info
Second wine of Château Cos d'Estournel (2nd Growth, 1855). Pagodes de Cos created in 1994; estate owned by Michel Reybier since 2000, practicing sustainable viticulture on gravelly Saint-Estèphe soils.
