Tasting Note
Concentrated Tempranillo with black cherry, blackberry, floral perfume, spice, tobacco and subtle mineral notes. Voluminous, silky texture, firm elegant tannins and long, fresh finish.

Food Pairing
Roasted beef, lamb, game, stews and aged cheeses; Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, Peking duck, rich mushroom or soy-braised beef dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested single-vineyard fruit; fermented in small oak tinos with selected/indigenous yeasts, malolactic in barrel; matured 15–18 months in new French oak; biodynamic vineyard practices (not certified).

Viñedos de Páganos (Eguren family project). La Nieta single vineyard (planted 1975), ~1.75–1.78 ha at 525m in Páganos, low yields, very small production (~5,000 bottles).
