Tasting Note
Dense ruby red with plums, blackberries and cassis on the nose; hints of dark chocolate and spice. Palate is fresh, harmonious, with polished round tannins and a persistent, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, stews, aged cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Chinese char siu or Peking duck, spicy Sichuan beef, Japanese teriyaki or yakitori with red meat.

Production Method
Hand-harvested grapes, destemmed and fermented with temperature control (stainless steel or traditional lagares). Short maceration and brief maturation in French oak barrels to integrate wood and round tannins.

Quinta da Pacheca is a historic Douro estate first recorded in 1738 (now part of Pacheca Group), with ~70+ ha of vineyards and a long tradition of Douro DOC and Port production.
