Tasting Note
Dense black-fruit core (blackberry, cassis) with cedar, tobacco, leather and baking-spice. Powerful yet refined tannins, bright acidity and a long, savory finish; 2013 shows elegance, 2015 richness, 2016 tension and precision.

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, steak au poivre, aged pecorino, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), miso-glazed beef, rich Sichuan beef dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; careful double sorting; separate vinification by variety and parcel; stainless steel/concrete fermentation, 10–15 day maceration; malolactic in oak; aged 18–20 months in 70% new/30% once-used barriques; bottle-aged before release.

Founded 1981 by Lodovico Antinori; today owned by the Frescobaldi family. Estate in Bolgheri with multiple parcels (Ornellaia/Bellaria), renowned for Bordeaux-style blends and long ageing potential.
