Tasting Note
Ruby-red with aromas of ripe red berries, cassis, Mediterranean scrub, tobacco and sweet spice. Silky mouthfeel, bright acidity, integrated tannins and a crisp, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: pizza, tomato-based pasta, grilled sausages, roasted lamb, aged Pecorino or Parmesan. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), teriyaki chicken, char siu pork, milder Sichuan or Cantonese-style pork dishes.

Production Method
Each variety fermented separately in small stainless-steel tanks; malolactic fermentation in steel; aged 10 months partly in used Ornellaia barriques and partly in cement vats.
