Tasting Note
Bright ruby-purple; aromas of cherry, blackberry, violet and black pepper. Generous, medium-bodied palate with ripe red and black fruit, smooth fine tannins, fresh acidity and a juicy, slightly spicy finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roasted lamb, grilled steak, tomato-based pasta, aged salami and hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu pork, mildly spicy Sichuan chicken.

Production Method
Fermented in stainless steel with malolactic in steel; aged about 10 months partly in used barriques and partly in concrete tanks.
