Tasting Note
Deep ruby with intense aromatics: blackcurrant, black cherry, violets, graphite and Mediterranean herbs. Silky yet firm tannins, cool acidity and a long, savory finish with cocoa and subtle spice.

Food Pairing
Western: roasted lamb, grilled ribeye, beef short ribs, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses (Parmigiano, Pecorino). Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ beef, char siu, Sichuan pepper beef, teriyaki steak.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, double-sorted; separate vinification by parcel; fermented in stainless steel and concrete (26–30°C), ~15 days maceration; malolactic in oak; aged ~18 months in barriques (70% new), plus 12 months bottle age.

Founded 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori; now owned by the Frescobaldi family. Estate in coastal Bolgheri with mixed soils and high-density plantings; flagship Super‑Tuscan producer.
