Tasting Note

Dense blackcurrant and blackberry fruit with cassis, violet and mocha notes; smoky/graphite minerality, cedar and vanilla from oak. Medium-full, velvety texture with firm, polished tannins and a long, savory finish.

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef short ribs, charcuterie, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi or galbi), soy-braised beef, char siu, Sichuan pepper beef.


Production Method

Traditional Bordeaux vinification with temperature-controlled fermentation; matured ~16 months in French oak barrels (approx. 45% new); hand-harvested vines and careful selection.

Château Les Ormes-de-Pez, owned by the Cazes family (also Lynch-Bages), is a historic Saint-Estèphe estate (≈33–40 ha). Modernized cellars; emphasis on integrated vineyard management and classic Médoc gravel terroirs.
