Tasting Note
Bright ruby with violet reflections. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, licorice, toasted coffee and Mediterranean herbs. Palate is juicy, balanced and soft with ripe dark fruit, fine tannins and a mineral, savory finish.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled red meats, roasted lamb, game, aged cheeses, pizza and rich pasta. Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, beef teriyaki, Sichuan-style beef, yakitori (dark meat) and hearty noodle dishes.
Production Method
Temperature-controlled fermentation with ~18 days maceration; aged about 6 months in French oak barriques, followed by bottle aging. Conventional viticulture.

Produced by Orma (Podere Orma / Tenuta Sette Ponti) in Bolgheri; first vintage 2015. Focus on Bordeaux varieties grown on clay-pebble soils near Castagneto Carducci.
