Tasting Note
Dense black-fruit core of cassis, blackberry and boysenberry with violet, dark chocolate, baking spice and graphite; chalky drying tannins, lively acidity and a long, spiced finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised beef short ribs, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Peking duck, miso-glazed black cod, Cantonese char siu.

Production Method
Fermented and blended from five Bordeaux varieties; matured 13 months in French oak barrels (44% new) before final blending and bottling.
