Tasting Note
Bright red currants, Satsuma plum, raspberry and violets with fennel, Asian spice and savory charcuterie. Fine-grained tannins, mouthwatering acidity, medium body and a long, succulent, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, pork belly, charcuterie, grilled mushrooms, pizza. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ, char siu, spicy Sichuan or BBQ pork, teriyaki dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; native fermentations with substantial whole-cluster inclusion; extended skin contact; ~5–6 months in seasoned French oak; bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal SO2.

Ochota Barrels (Taras & Amber Ochota) produces small-batch, minimal-intervention wines. Fugazi is from 1947 dry‑grown bush vines on ironstone/gravel soils in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, farmed organically.
