Tasting Note
Deep burgundy with pomegranate, cranberry and dark cherry, edged by exotic spice and earth. Velvety texture, vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins deliver a seamless, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Roast duck, duck confit, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, pork belly, char siu, miso-glazed salmon, teriyaki chicken, shiitake-ginger stir-fries, soft cheeses.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; 80% destemmed/20% whole-bunch; native fermentation ~21 days; pressed to French oak (10% new); malolactic in barrel; 10 months on gross lees then additional tank ageing.

Henk Vineyard, Aqueduct block. North-facing on red volcanic Woori Yallock soils; planted 2008 (MV6 clone) at ~225m; single-block selection, low yields for site expression.
