Tasting Note

Energetic, textural Chardonnay: citrus, white peach, nectarine, baked apple, oyster-shell minerality and subtle cashew/lees complexity. Bright acidity with savory, saline drive and a long, mouthwatering finish.


Food Pairing

Western: oysters, grilled/roasted chicken, buttered lobster, creamy pasta, risotto. Asian: sashimi/sushi, tempura, miso‑glazed fish, pork belly, mild Thai coconut curries.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, whole‑cluster press; 100% wild‑yeast fermentation in clay amphorae; 10 months on gross lees with minimal batonage, 2 months on fine lees in stainless steel; 100% natural malolactic; unfined, coarse‑filtered, organic.

Neudorf Vineyards, founded 1978 by Tim & Judy Finn; Rosie’s Block (purchased 1999) is dry‑farm, organically certified (Biogro) on Moutere clay‑gravel soils in Upper Moutere.
