Tasting Note

Blue/black fruits, plum, cherry and violet with cocoa, damp-earth and subtle spice; velvety texture, fresh acidity and smooth, polished tannins.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, beef short ribs, duck confit, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ, soy-braised short ribs (galbi) or braised beef with star anise.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, destemmed, fermented in temperature-controlled vats; élevage c.12–18 months with ~35% new French oak.

Owned by the Delon family since 1997; estate ~32 ha on the Pomerol plateau. Produces Grand Vin Château Nénin and second wine Fugue de Nénin.
