Tasting Note

Deep purple fruit core: black cherry, plum and blackberry with lavender, licorice, menthol and warm spice. Full-bodied, concentrated, fresh acidity and firm, polished tannins; long, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Roast lamb, beef short ribs, duck breast, aged hard cheeses (Comté), mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, braised beef noodle, soy-braised short ribs, mushroom hot pot.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; destemmed, fermented in temperature-controlled vats with extended maceration; aged ~18 months in French oak (≈45% new).

Château Nénin (32 ha) owned by the Delon family since 1997; modernized cellars and consulted by oenologist Éric Boissenot; increasing Cabernet Franc for freshness and structure.
