Tasting Note

Inky dark cherry and blackcurrant with graphite, tobacco, toasted hazelnut and forest-floor notes. Full, creamy palate with fine-grained, ripe tannins and a long, powerful finish.

Western: roast leg of lamb, rib-eye steak, beef short ribs, game birds. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), soy-braised beef, Chinese red-cooked pork, umami mushroom hotpot.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, sorted and destemmed; 20–25 day maceration; matured ~18 months in French oak (significant new oak).
