Tasting Note
Concentrated dark-plum and liquorice fruit with violets, black pepper, dried-meat/savoury notes and subtle cedary oak. Plush mid-palate, polished yet firm tannins and a long, peppery finish.

BBQ lamb or grilled steak, venison, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, Sichuan pepper beef, Thai grilled meats.
Production Method
Hand-picked fruit chilled, destemmed and fermented in open-top fermenters with short cold-soak and regular plunging; pressed before dryness, MLF in tank, matured ~9 months in large-format French oak (c.20% new).

Mount Pleasant, founded by Maurice O’Shea; Rosehill planted 1946. Ancient volcanic loam site in Pokolbin producing single-vineyard Shiraz noted for elegance and ageability.
