Tasting Note

Pale straw with lemon, lime and green apple; youthful skin‑y minerality and bright acidity. With bottle age shows honey, lanolin and toasty notes, saline minerality and a very long, precise finish.

Oysters, shellfish, lemon‑roasted chicken, goat cheese, grilled prawns; Asian: sushi/sashimi, steamed fish with ginger & scallion, Vietnamese green papaya salad, milder Thai fish curries.


Production Method

Hand‑picked, early harvest Semillon; gentle pressing, cold/slow cultured yeast fermentation, clarification, sterile filtration and early bottling to preserve freshness; typically unoaked and released after bottle age.


Vineyard Info

Lovedale vineyard planted by Maurice O’Shea in 1946. Mount Pleasant (long associated with the McWilliam family) produces acclaimed single‑vineyard Lovedale Semillon renowned for longevity and purity.
