Tasting Note
Citrus, nashi pear, guava, lemongrass and jasmine with greengage and Meyer lemon; chalky, slippery texture, subtle sandalwood oak, precise and very long finish.
Food Pairing
Oysters and shellfish, sashimi/sushi, steamed or grilled white fish, roasted chicken, creamy risotto, aged cheeses (Parmesan, Gruyère), Thai green curry, tempura.
Production Method
Crushed and destemmed (20% whole-bunch in press). Barrel fermented and matured ~11 months in seasoned 225L barriques; lees stirring (batonnage); varieties fermented and aged separately.

Family-owned Mount Mary, established by John & Marli Middleton (site planted 1972); single-vineyard Yarra Valley estate now with Sam Middleton as head winemaker.
