Tasting Note
Perfumed and spiced red with liquored cherries, ripe raspberry, violets, liquorice and savoury herb notes. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, fine grainy tannins and a long, expressive finish.

Western: roast lamb, grilled pork, beef brisket, charcuterie, mushroom risotto, tomato‑based pasta. Asian: char siu, Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), hoisin‑glazed pork, savoury ramen with braised pork.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested, bunch‑sorted, open‑fermented (10–14 days on skins). Aged ~16 months in large‑format French oak (Grenache in large vats), small percentage new oak.

Mount Mary is a family‑owned single‑vineyard estate (founded 1971 by John & Marli Middleton). Marli Russell is the estate's Rhône Project (vines planted 2008–09), named for Marli Middleton.
