Blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry with violets, pencil-lead, tobacco and crushed gravel; dense, layered, saline minerality, refined powdery tannins and a long, resonant finish.

Production Method

Hand-harvested; controlled-temperature fermentation with extended maceration; élevage in French oak barrels (circa 60% new) for ~18 months before bottling.
