Tasting Note
Deep golden; floral and honeyed nose with bay leaf, mint and condensed milk. Unctuous palate of apricot, orange peel and honey, bright acidity and a long, fresh finish.

Western: foie gras, Roquefort/blue cheese, almond tart, crème brûlée, apple/almond tarts. Asian: mango sticky rice, sweet sesame dumplings (tangyuan), Chinese almond cookies, mildly spicy Thai curries, Peking duck with hoisin glaze.
Production Method
Grapes are sun-dried (asoleo), pressed with esparto mats in traditional oil presses, fermented with indigenous yeasts in 225L oak barrels and aged ~20 months.

Founded by Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza (1995). Nine hectares of Moscatel on schist/green-slate soils at 350–1,000m around Cómpeta, supplemented by local growers.
