Tasting Note
Golden-honey colour; intense floral and honeyed aromas of apricot, candied citrus and jasmine. Lush, sweet palate with fresh acidity, candied fruit and toasted-almond notes; long, spicy, honeyed finish.
Food Pairing
Western: foie gras, blue cheeses, almond tart, fruit tarts and crème brûlée. Asian: mango sticky rice, sesame balls, sweet red‑bean mochi, Chinese almond cookies; also excellent with mildly spiced dishes.
Production Method
Grapes undergo traditional asoleo (sun‑drying), pressed and slowly fermented (indigenous yeasts) in wooden vats, followed by ~20 months ageing in French oak barrels.
Vineyard Info
Produced by Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez (Telmo Rodríguez). Fruit from ~9 ha of old Moscatel vines on slate/schist slopes (350–1,000 m) in Axarquía; project begun mid‑1990s with organic practices.
Delivery is typically completed within 5–7 business days from the date payment is received.
