Tasting Note

Deep, concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry and cedar with sous-bois, truffle and chocolate notes. Full-bodied, powerful, with ripe grainy tannins, striking freshness and an epic, mineral finish.

Western: roast lamb, entrecôte, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses; Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (siu yuk), beef rendang, mushroom hot pot.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled vats; élevage ~18–20 months in 75% new French oak barrels; fined and lightly filtered before bottling.
