Tasting Note

Ripe citrus, white peach and pear with hazelnut, chalky minerality and subtle oak; fresh acidity, creamy mid-palate and a long, saline finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast chicken, seared scallops, lobster, mushroom risotto, Comté or Gruyère cheeses. Asian: miso‑glazed cod, tempura prawns, sushi (salmon/white fish), Cantonese steamed sea bass, mild Thai coconut curry.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; whole-cluster pressing; fermented and aged in French oak (partial new oak) on fine lees with occasional bâtonnage; traditional Burgundian vinification.


Vineyard Info

Family domaine begun mid‑20th century by Marcel and Michel Niellon; ~8 hectares concentrated in Chassagne‑Montrachet. Three generations work the estate, practicing 'reasonable viticulture' and producing terroir-driven Chardonnay and select Pinot Noir.
