Awards/Ratings
favorable notes from Burgundy Report (Bill Nanson) and merchant tasting notes; village-level praised for ripe fruit, texture and length
Tasting Note
Golden lemon color; aromas of pear, apple, citrus and a touch of matchstick/resin. Ripe orchard and tropical fruit with baking-spice, stony minerality and a creamy, tactile mid-palate. Medium–full-bodied with bright acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast chicken, butter-poached lobster, scallop or mushroom risotto; Asian: miso-glazed cod, seared scallops with soy-citrus, tempura prawns, light Chinese-style stir-fried greens.
Production Method
Traditional village‑level Burgundy: grapes hand‑harvested, fermented initially in stainless steel then racked to small oak barrels to finish fermentation and undergo malolactic; aged on lees with limited new oak.
