Tasting Note
Pure dark-cherry and mulberry fruit with peony/iris florals, smoked earth and spice. Silky texture, fine-grained tannins, medium body and a long, sapid finish.

Food Pairing
Roast duck or duck à l'orange, roasted lamb or beef, mushroom risotto, seared foie gras; Asian: Peking duck, char siu (BBQ pork), miso‑glazed eggplant, soy‑glazed salmon.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, cold pre-maceration then native-yeast fermentation with remontage/pigeage; matured in mostly light-toast Tronçais oak (portion new). Bottled unfined/unfiltered.

Domaine Méo-Camuzet, based in Vosne-Romanée and led by Jean‑Nicolas Méo, produces single-vineyard Premier Crus from old vines; Boudots is a ~1 ha parcel on the lower slope near Vosne.
