Awards/Ratings
Burghound 89; Jasper Morris 90; Vivino average ~3. 9/5; retailer/critic notes: Wine Enthusiast / James Suckling / Wine merchants list varying scores (commonly 88–93)
Tasting Note
Fresh red and black cherry, raspberry and redcurrant with violet and subtle menthol/earth notes. Supple entry, vertical acidity, moderate tannins and a gently toasty finish; reserved now but gains finesse with 3–7 years’ age.
Food Pairing
Roast duck, grilled lamb, pork loin, mushroom risotto, aged Comté or Gruyère; Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, teriyaki chicken, mushroom stir-fry, Korean BBQ.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Pinot Noir from several Marsannay parcels; traditional Burgundian vinification with temperature-controlled fermentations, malo completed, and élevage in barrels with limited new oak.
