Tasting Note

Bright straw-yellow; aromas of lime, apricot, white flowers, papaya and candied fruit. Fresh, lively acidity with mineral, saline undertones, full-bodied and succulent with a long, savory finish.

Western: grilled or roasted white fish, Adriatic seafood, shellfish, creamy pasta, roasted chicken, soft cheeses. Asian: sushi/sashimi, tempura, Thai or Vietnamese seafood curries, Chinese steamed fish.


Production Method

Hand-harvested Trebbiano; pre-fermentation cryomaceration on skins, gentle pressing, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel; aged on lees and bottled for a minimum of 24 months.

Masciarelli Tenute Agricole, founded by Gianni Masciarelli in 1981. Castello di Semivicoli estate restored in 2004; vineyards at ~380m in Casacanditella. Producer known for native Abruzzo varieties and modern winemaking.
