Tasting Note

Warm sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon), cooked fruit evolving to fresh red and black fruits (cherry, blackberry), dried fruit and toasted nuts; light amber with mahogany highlights, structured and spicy with a long finish.


Food Pairing

Western: foie gras, dark chocolate, aged/blue cheeses, roasted lamb, tarte Tatin, toasted nuts. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), red-braised pork belly (hong shao rou), miso-glazed dishes, teriyaki beef.


Production Method

Double-distilled white-wine eaux-de-vie from Petite Champagne, matured in French oak casks and blended to showcase single-cru character by the cellar master.


Vineyard Info

Maison Martell, founded in 1715 by Jean Martell in Cognac, is one of the oldest cognac houses (now part of Pernod Ricard). The Single Cru range is curated by Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud from Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie.
