Tasting Note
Dark gold with copper hues. Aromas of pear, prune, vanilla pod, caramelised grape, myrrh, cedar and fine-grained oak. Palate shows caramel, molasses, dried fruit, bitter chocolate, warm spice and a smooth, long wood-driven finish.
Food Pairing
Western: dark chocolate, roasted duck, braised pork, aged cheeses, roast pork belly. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, braised pork belly (hong shao rou), dim sum, spicy Szechuan dishes.
Production Method
Blend of 100+ eaux-de-vie from Cognac crus; produced by double distillation of white wines and aged in fine-grained oak barrels. Master blender assembles the VSOP-style blend.

Maison Martell, founded in 1715 in Cognac, France, is one of the oldest cognac houses. Noblige was introduced as a contemporary VSOP statement and is released in periodic artist-designed limited editions.
