Tasting Note

Rich and elegant: candied plum, baked apple and orchard fruit, warm baking spice, toasted almond and vanilla, silky oak and a long spicy finish.


Food Pairing

Western: foie gras, roasted duck, grilled lamb, blue cheese, dark chocolate and almond tart. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, hoisin-glazed pork, miso-glazed fish, spiced Szechuan dishes, Japanese wagyu. Also pairs with toasted nuts and buttery pastries.


Production Method

Blend of 100+ eaux-de-vie (many from Borderies), double-distilled in Charentais copper pot stills and aged in French oak barrels; presented as a miniature bottle paired with a tulip tasting glass.
