Tasting Note
Elegant Margaux: blackcurrant and blackberry with cedar, tobacco and subtle spice. Fine-grained ripe tannins, bright acidity and mineral undertones; medium-full body and a long, savory finish with dark chocolate notes.
Food Pairing
Roast lamb, beef medallions, duck confit; aged cheeses and mushroom risotto. Asian pairings: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), hoisin-glazed pork, miso-glazed eggplant, and rich Sichuan-style braised beef.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled vats; aged 16–18 months in oak (≈50% new). Estate moved toward organic vineyard practices (certified post-2013 trials).
