Tasting Note
Medium-bodied with black cherry, cassis, violet and lavender, graphite, leather and savory herbs. Silky, powdery tannins, bright acidity and a mineral-tinged, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, ribeye or hanger steak, beef short ribs, mushroom risotto, hard cheeses; Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, braised beef or soy-braised short ribs.

Production Method
Merlot-led Bordeaux blend fermented in stainless/enamel vats; aged about 17 months in oak barrels (≈1/3 new); fined and bottled for early approachability.

Château Calon-Ségur, a 3ème Cru Classé (1855) in Saint-Estèphe. Long-standing estate, acquired by Suravenir (Crédit Mutuel Arkéa) in 2012; technical direction by Vincent Millet.
