Tasting Note
Opaque purple-black; scents of blackcurrant, blackberry, violets, lavender, cedar and graphite. Medium–full-bodied, concentrated fruit with silky yet firm tannins, mineral lift and floral notes; very long, refined finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef tenderloin/roast, venison, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu or Cantonese roasted pork, Korean bulgogi/galbi, Japanese yakiniku or sukiyaki, braised beef with soy/miso accents.
Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification with strict selection (Grand Vin = 36% of crop); fermentation in temperature‑controlled vats and élevage in French oak barrels (bottled after ~21 months).
