Tasting Note
Perfumed and elegant: concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry with violet, cedar, tobacco and graphite; bright acidity, grainy yet refined tannins and an exceptionally long, layered finish.

Western: roasted ribeye, beef Wellington, lamb, venison, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ beef (bulgogi), Cantonese roasted meats, soy-glazed short ribs, rich miso dishes.
Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermentation in oak vats with strict selection for the Grand Vin; aged ~18–24 months in new French oak barrels.

Château Margaux is a historic 1er Cru Classé estate (owner Corinne Mentzelopoulos). The 2015 vintage commemorates director Paul Pontallier and coincided with the opening of new cellars.
