Tasting Note

Blackcurrant and violet aromas with cedar, tobacco, graphite and a hint of charcoal. Concentrated, silky black fruit, fine ripe tannins and bright acidity; long mineral finish with dried currant and leather notes.

Western: roast lamb, beef entrecôte, venison, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi), Cantonese roast pork, rich miso-glazed eggplant.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; classic left-bank vinification with parcel selection, fermentation in vats and maturation c.18–24 months in new oak barrels.
